change life orphanage

the Elsie Mae Humphrey Project

This August, the SF Performance Group ("You Can Have It ALL") will have a five day conference/crusade in Uganda East Africa. Not only are we aspiring to have a successful conference/crusade that uplifts and empowers the people but one of our biggest goals is to leave a mark that cannot be erased...

In consideration of this historic conference and the importance of continued outreach to the children of Uganda, Camp Warrior King has recently adopted the Change Life In Africa Orphanage in order to provide continued support to the children and the vision as well as to facilitate in the overall expansion of the orphanage to house more children in better living conditions. We are calling it the Elsie Mae Humphrey Project, in honor of the matriarch of our family who recently transitioned in March.

It is our hope that families associated with Camp Warrior King will consider themselves blessed enough to help children who are in serious need of the things most of us take for granted. It is also our hope that our partnership with the school will create a deeper sense of gratitude among the children in our program--spurring them to perform at a greater level in spite of the challenges they may face. Please share the information about this movement with your camper. Giving is optional and not a requirement to attend camp.

We ask that families begin to drop lightly used items on April 21st and May 5th (both are parent orientation days) and throughout camp until the end of June. We plan to ship the items at the end of June. Items will be distributed during the days we will be in Uganda at the orphanage. Please have clothing/bed linen items washed and folded in a bag. We truly appreciate your support of this vision.

We are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others.
