Q: What will my camper learn?
A: Camp Warrior King is a one of a kind personal development program that introduces kids to various extra-curricular activities they normally wouldn't experience due to schedule, availability and/or financial requirement(s). In addition, each day your child will participate in classes centered around the core curriculum (reading/writing, Social Studies, Math and Science. Each activity your child is exposed to offers a skill they can use to maintain a healthy lifestyle. We select activities that are not only fun but teach/promote: confidence building, leadership, critical thinking, teamwork, peace, focus, humility, patience and desire. Your camper will also learn through various exciting games, fun skits and community building activities.
Q: Is this a co-ed camp?
A: Yes, our camp is co-ed. Boys and girls between ages 5-15 are welcome to attend. We do not discriminate against children for any reason: race, creed, color, sexual orientation, family structure or religion.
Q: What to wear?
A: Your Camper(s) should wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. T-shirts, shoes (no sandles) and shorts are perfect. I AM Defense martial arts students can wear their do-boks during self-defense sessions. All students will receive a free t-shirt which can be worn daily. Camp shirts ARE REQUIRED ON ALL FIELD TRIPS. Additional t-shirts can be purchased. Kids love wearing our t-shirts, they're pretty stylish.
Q: What should my camper bring to camp?
A: A great attitude and lots of energy! Younger campers are encouraged to bring an extra change of clothes that will stay at camp in case of an "accident." Technology (ie: tablets, laptops, video games or music devices) is strongly discouraged unless it's being used for an in-class project. Students will rarely have time to use their devices which also risk being damaged or lost. CWK is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
