FISHING AT CHARLIE ELLIOTT
Let's go fishing! For years, CWK has taken campers to fish at Charlie Elliott Wildlife center and everytime, it's a hoot! This summer will be no different. Campers will fish in the morning, enjoy an interpretive hike along a beautiful trail on the Charlie Elliott grounds and visit the Charlie Elliott Musuem.

To make this trip amazing for your campers, there are a few things we want to bring to your attention:

Campers will travel to the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center located at: 543 Elliott Trail, Mansfield, GA 30055

No fishing gear is required. No experience necessary.

Catch and release pond. Campers will catch mostly Crappies.

Arrive to CWK at 7am ready to depart. Estimated return time is 4:30pm. The drive is approx 2hrs one way without much traffic. We will stop once on the way back from CEWC, if feasible, for a quick leg stretch and snacks.

This trip is all outdoorswith the one exception being the tour of the musuem at the end. This means, campers should be prepared to be outside all day, prepared to be dirty and have proper outdoor attire, equipment.
